Pirated Windows led to WannaCry's spread in India, China

According to Finnish cybersecurity company F-Secure, the 'WannaCry' ransomware that hit 150 countries reportedly affected Russia, China, and India the most due to pirated software. Systems running illegal software remained vulnerable as the patch issued by Microsoft couldn’t be installed in those systems. 70% computers in China ran pirated software, followed by 64% in Russia, and 58% in India, a survey reportedly says.
