Tamil Nadu State Transport Authority on Tuesday issued five new regulations to suspend(temporary/permanent) the licence of the motorist in the state. It includes a compulsory helmet for pillion riders. Other violations include, over speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and violating traffic signals. Notably, the violators will be given a two-hour compulsory class on road traffic safety and also will be fined.
