According to reports, multiple photographs of the pitch that is expected to be used for the third Test match between India and Australia has caught the eye of the public. Based on the photograph, the Ranchi turf looks brown, dry and does not contain any trace of grass. Notably, various reports have suggested that the pitch could turn out to be a rank-turner, assisting spinner from the first session of the Test. Further, another report had earlier claimed that there would be no assistance for the seam bowlers due to lack of bounce and carry.
