After the petroleum dealers had threatened not to accept credit and debit cards at the petrol pumps,  as the banks decided to levy transaction fee of up to one percent, from Monday, the oil ministry stepped in to settle the dispute. According to reports, after the interference of the ministry, the dealers have announced that petrol pumps would accept card payments until January 13.
