Oil companies increased the price of petrol by Rs 1.39/litre and the price of diesel by Rs 1.04/litre in sync with firming international rates. The hike is effective from Saturday midnight. IOC also said it intends to shortly start daily changes in the price of petrol and diesel on a pilot basis. Non-branded petrol and diesel in Delhi will now cost Rs 68.07/litre and Rs 56.83/litre.
