People, including students, have reportedly ended their protest near the Tiruchirappalli Combined Court on Monday. According to reports, the people have submitted their demands to the deputy collector. The demands included permanent solution for Jallikattu, ban PETA in India, compensation for drought-affected farmers and  set up Cauvery water management board.
