Condemning the lathicharge on the protesters in Marina after some anti-social elements crept into the crowd, the people have reportedly blocked the roads in various parts of Chennai, including Taramani, Chintadripet, T Nagar, Guindy, Teynampet and OMR. Reportedly the city has come to a standstill.
