The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Shahryar Khan has reportedly requested their Test team captain Misbah-ul-Haq to retire after the tour to the West Indies in March-April. According to reports, the decision has come after the national team's straight Test losses in New Zealand and Australia recently. "He will turn 43 and I don't see him continuing to play on after the tour", said Shahryar. The PCB retained Misbah as captain for the West Indies tour keeping in mind his services to Pakistan cricket and also since he wanted to end his career on a high, added Shahryar.
