The Civil Aviation Administration of China has reportedly said that the Beijing police has detained three passengers for using cell phones during flights. According to reports, passengers named Zhang and Wang has been imprisoned for five days as they allegedly refused to switch off their phones and used it to make calls and similarly, another passenger named Niu was also detained for three days by the police for using cell phones during travel.
