BJP’s Manohar Parrikar took oath as Goa’s Chief Minister in Panaji on Tuesday. Parrikar-led BJP was invited to form the government in Goa despite winning fewer seats than Congress in the Goa Assembly elections. However, the Supreme Court ordered a floor test in Goa Assembly on March 16 after the Congress challenged the appointment of Parrikar as CM.
