The police have reportedly been arresting the supporters of O Panneerselvam in Madurai district as a precautionary measure as there is going to be a floor test on Saturday to decide who has the majority support in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. Panneerselvam had earlier reportedly announced that voters’ rally would be conducted in every constituency after Edappadi Palanisamy was sworn-in as Chief Minister.
