Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has reportedly announced Pongal bonus for the state government employees and teachers. The CM reportedly announced Rs 325.20 crore of Pongal bonus. According to reports, Group C and Group D employees, as well as teachers, will get bonus up to Rs 3,000. Group A and Group B employees as well as teachers, who have worked for more than 240 days, will get Rs 1,000 as special salary. Pensioners and family pensioners will get Rs 500 as bonus, say reports.
