An advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has reportedly claimed that the country has received the Rs 1,500 crore ($221 million) aid payout, which was approved by ex-US President Barack Obama during his final hours in office. This comes after reports said President Donald Trump's administration has frozen the aid transfer and notified Palestine Authority to not expect the payout.
