Russian antivirus provider Kaspersky Lab has reportedly revealed that more than 98% of the WannaCry victims were using Windows 7 OS in their computers. According to reports, only over 1% of the victims were Windows Server 2008 R2 OS users, added the company. Notably, Kaspersky’s Costin Raiu had earlier tweeted, “#WannaCry infection distribution by the Windows version. Worst hit - Windows 7 x64. The Windows XP count is insignificant (SIC)”.
