According to reports, the merger talks between O Panneerselvam’s faction and Edappadi Palaniswami’s faction is on the verge of collapse. This comes after O Panneerselvam said that TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and TTV Dhinakaran were comrades in arms. Notably, Panneerselvam also claimed that members of the ruling faction had not taken back the affidavits submitted to the EC, where they chose VK Sasikala as the party’s general secretary.
