Calling the government a “cheat”, the Opposition parties including Congress, SP and BSP alleged tampering of Electronic Voting Machines to favour the ruling BJP in the recently concluded Assembly elections. Following the uproar over the issue in Rajya Sabha, Deputy Chairman P J Kurien adjourned the proceedings for about seven minutes.
