After reports started emerging that Uber's top executive had obtained confidential medical records of a rape victim in India, Indian-born cab sharing service Ola has condemned the incident and called it a 'despicable' act. According to reports, Eric Alexander, business head, Asia Pacific region for Uber, reportedly obtained and shared the confidential medical report of a woman who had been raped by a driver on the Uber network to Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick. The report was allegedly obtained to cross check the accusation by the rape victim.
