According to reports, the number of non-immigrant US visas issued by the Trump administration to Indians during March and April in 2017 has increased to 28%, in comparison with the monthly average of 2016. Meanwhile, the same non-immigrant visas issued to Pakistan in the same period has reportedly decreased by 40%. Notably, as many as 50 Muslim-majority nations witnessed a huge drop of around 20% in the non-immigrant US visas issued to them.
