The Assam government on Sunday reportedly drafted a population policy to keep the rampant population explosion in check. According to reports, the new policy denies government jobs to people with more than two children. If passed, anyone getting a government job in Assam will have to maintain it until the end of the service. The policy also suggests making university level education free for all girls in the state.
