A Spanish Court on Thursday ordered Barcelona’s star forward Neymar Jr to face trial over corruption charges involving his transfer from Brazilian club Santos to FC Barcelona in 2013. The court also ordered members of Neymar’s family, the two clubs, former Barcelona President Sandro Rosell and his successor Josep Maria Bartomeu to stand trial over the alleged transfer fraud. Notably, Neymar’s transfer fraud was exposed after reports revealed that Barcelona had paid more than €57.1 million they had officially quoted.
