HDFC Bank has reportedly seen the staff headcount dipping by 4,581 in a single quarter. Reportedly total headcount reduced to 90,421 on December 31, 2016, from 95,002 on September 30, 2016. The company, which reported its slowest profit growth ever at 15% for the December quarter, has reportedly said that the drop in headcount is due to efficiencies in the system and lower hiring.
