Two Muslim women, Heena Fathima and Bahrain Noor, who were divorced by sending triple talaq messages over WhatsApp, have reportedly moved to Hyderabad High Court seeking justice. The women, married to two brothers residing in US, were allegedly harassed by their in-laws and were forced to leave their houses. Stating, “The way we were divorced is not valid under Islamic law”, the women urged the court to declare the “divorces” illegal and arbitrary.
