Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday revealed that his government is reportedly seeking ways to introduce a bill in the forthcoming monsoon session to award death penalty to rapists. Notably, he had earlier said that the state might also have its anti-Romeo squad on the lines of Uttar Pradesh. On an average, 12 women are raped in Madhya Pradesh every day, as per the data.
