Experts reportedly say three of five ATMs in India use outdated technology and they also lack basic security features like ‘one-time combination’ method, widely used in developed countries. Reportedly, most of the country’s 220,000 ATMs don’t have CCTV cameras for monitoring. Experts reportedly say this makes ATMs vulnerable to fake currency loading.
