In a bid to urge the government to make amendments to the PCA Act, the Tamil-origin people in Melbourne have reportedly arranged a second peaceful gathering in front of the Victorian Parliament in Melbourne on Friday. “This is done to show solidarity with our brothers and sister in India who are fighting for their rights in Tamil Nadu,” said one of the protesting members, in an exclusive chat with Behindwoods. Notably, this is the second such peaceful protest made by the Tamil-origin crowd in Melbourne.
