Narendra Modi became the first Indian PM to visit Spain in nearly 30 years after he reached the country on Tuesday night. The former Indian PM to visit Spain was Rajiv Gandhi, in 1988. Modi tweeted "Landed in Spain, marking the start of a very important visit aimed at improving economic and cultural relations with Spain," in Spanish and English.
