As of now, six AIADMK MLAs have extended their support to Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. Kavundampalayam MLA VC Arukutty, Vasudevanallur MLA A Manoharan, Sholavandan MLA K Manickam, Uthangarai MLA Manoranjitham, Srivaikundam MLA SP Shanmuganathan and Education Minister and Avadi MLA K Pandiarajan have supported Panneerselvam. The Chief Minister, including himself, has the support of seven MLA and needs the support of 110 MLAs to form government.
