Following her second consecutive meeting with the party legislators in two days, VK Sasikala claimed that the MLAs were staying at Kuvathur by their will and were not forcefully detained. Further, she alleged that the people who left her for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and the opposition party members were spreading false statements to create a rift between the MLAs. Responding to questions over what her next move would be, Sasikala asserted that people should “wait and see what happens.”
