Indian automaker Maruti Suzuki has reportedly set a target of selling 3 lakh automatic cars every year by 2020. According to reports, a spokesperson from the company has said that their mission is to double automated gear shift contribution from the current levels of 94,000 units to around 1.5 lakh units by the end of the financial year 2017-18 and achieve 3 lakh mark by 2020. Notably, Maruti’s newly launched Dzire, Wagon R, Alto K10, Ignis, etc. come with AGS technology.
