Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday reportedly said, “let bygones be bygones,” when asked if he was disappointed that his government, which initiated the GST, was not able to launch it. His comment comes after the GST related bills sailed through Rajya Sabha without amendments on the day. He also said, “It is a historic bill. It is making a new beginning... It is a consensus bill, so I am very happy.”
