The Central government on Monday reportedly sent a notice to the Khadi Village Industries Commission, asking the body to seek approval before publishing photos of PM Modi. Notably, this comes after the controversy surrounding Khadi’s usage of Modi’s photo in KVIC annual diary and calendar, replacing the long lasting tradition of using Mahatma Gandhi’s photographs.
