A 61-year-old man, in Tennessee, who was wrongly imprisoned for 31 years has reportedly got just $75 as compensation. According to reports, Lawrence McKinney, 22-year-old in 1977, was convicted of rape as his neighbour woman identified him as the rapist. McKinney was sentenced to 115 years jail and was released in 2009, after the charges on him were cleared. McKinney petitioned the state for a compensation of $1 million for the wrong imprisonment, but he has got only $75 so far.
