According to a report TOI, a 36-year-old was nabbed by the Chennai police on sedition charges for forwarding and receiving messages on WhatsApp that could incite hatred between two groups of communities. Reportedly, officials found some messages and voice messages in the accused Tadikala Saleem's phone, inviting youngsters to gather at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for a flash protest. Meanwhile, the man was released on bail immediately after he was produced before a magistrate court in Alandur.
