Maharashtra assembly on Monday reportedly passed a bill to ratify the Union government's Goods and Services Tax Act. According to reports, the state Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said, "the new tax regime will strengthen the economy of the state and tax terrorism will be eliminated."
