The bride, identified as Anjali by Manorama Online, was dancing to the song Malaiyiru from the Tamil movie Mambattiyan while walking up to the stage as the guests watch. Anjali said her aim was to surprise her husband-to-be, Varun.
The video was reportedly filmed at CR Auditorium in Kannur and was shared to Facebook before making its way to other social media platforms.
A Twitter user named Karan Kapoor shared the video with the caption, "Be prepared folks. This is Year 2020. Brides will no more be shy or coy on their big days. See how a bride makes her entrance for her wedding in Kannur, Kerala."
The video has already been viewed over 70,000 times. "Ability to dance in a saree and bridal costume is remarkable. Hats off," commented one Twitter user. "Absolutely loving this. She is gorgeous," wrote another.
