The Karnataka government has reportedly passed an order which caps the price of cinema tickets at Rs 200, exclusive of taxes. This will be applicable from May 2, on movie tickets at cinema halls, including multiplexes, across the state. Meanwhile, the government added that the order would not be applicable for IMAX and 4DX theaters, and gold class seats, the prices of which can be decided by cinema halls.
