FIFA on Monday confirmed that the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata would be the venue of the final of the FIFA Under 17 World Cup to be held on October 28, 2017. The U-17 football tournament will start in New Delhi and Navi Mumbai with the tournament's two opening matches on October 6. Notably, Guwahati and Navi Mumbai will host the semi-finals of the tournament.
