Kannan Ramasamy, managing director of Infratech Infrastructure, on Wednesday, had alleged in a Facebook post that Tamil Nadu politicians asked for “a very huge bribe” to let Kia Motors enter the state. Notably, Kia Motors announced its $1.1 billion investment for a new factory in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh on April 27. According to reports, Kia Motors had approached TN industries secretary and SIPCOT to construct the plant in Oragadam complex.
