Fishers in Kasimedu area have reportedly extended their support to Jallikattu. According to reports, around 5,000 fishers have announced that they would join the protesters at  Marina beach on Friday and protest against the ban on Jallikattu. Notably, several people, including students, have gathered at Marina.
