A Kashmiri athlete has reportedly been denied US visa by the embassy citing the current immigration policy in the country. According to reports, Tanveer Hussain, a slow shoe- running champion was invited to participate in the International world championship in New York on February 25. Though he had all the documents, the embassy refused to provide him with the visa, said Hussain. Notably, the policy bans immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.
