Jallikattu activist Karthikeya Sivasenapathy has reportedly announced that the emergency ordinance promulgated by the Tamil Nadu government has cleared the ban on Jallikattu. According to reports, Sivasenapathy also asked the protesters to trust the Chief Minister and the lawmakers and end their protests.
