Karnataka assembly has reportedly passed a bill to conduct Kambala on Monday. Kambala is a traditional annual buffalo race in marshy fields held in the coastal districts of Karnataka. Kambala committee and various Kannada organizations protested across the state similar to the Jallikattu protest in Tamil Nadu.
