At least seven people have reportedly died, and around 30 people are feared to be trapped under the debris of an under-construction building that collapsed in Kanpur on Wednesday. According to reports, police, Army, NDRF and fire department personnel are continuing the rescue operations. Notably, police have filed a FIR against Samajwadi Party leader Mahtab Alam, who is said to be the owner of the building.
