Following the death of a four-year-old boy after allegedly consuming a contaminated candy, the food safety department has reportedly banned the sale and distribution of jelly candy in Kerala's Kozhikode district. Notably, the child and his mother fell ill and were hospitalised on Friday after consuming the candy. The bakery, from where the candy was bought, has been ordered shut.
