According to reports, Mukesh Singh, a Janata Dal (United) leader, was shot dead by unknown assailants on Sunday in Patna district's Barh. Reportedly, he was the general secretary of the party unit of Barh district. Reportedly, the motive behind the murder is unknown. Patna Police has sent the body for postmortem.
