Tamil Nadu Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar has reportedly opened 92 temporary fish stalls in Nadukuppam, a fishing colony near the Marina beach, on Thursday. Fish stalls in Nadukuppam were allegedly burnt after the violence erupted in the colony following riots in Marina on January 23. Notably, several people in the area were attacked during the violence.
