Jallikattu organisers in Avaniyapuram have reportedly announced that the sporting event would be conducted in the village on February 5. According to reports, the move of the organisers comes after Jallikattu bill, which makes the event legal, was passed in the TN Assembly. Notably, Jallikattu will be conducted in Alanganallur and Palamedu on February 1 and 2 respectively.
