Tamil Nadu state Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar and Sports and Youth welfare Minister  K Pandiarajan on Wednesday reportedly held talks with the pro-Jallikattu protesters in Chennai. According to reports, the ministers assured the government’s commitment to hold Jallikattu. Jayakumar reportedly said the government would even approach the President seeking an ordinance.
