Reports suggest that seven organisations, involved in the Marina protests in support of Jallikattu, are likely to be banned. Without revealing the names of the organisations, police reportedly said the organisations triggered violence during the peaceful protests. Notably, several activists and common people have accused the police of triggering violence during the protests, and the videos of police vandalising the properties and misbehaving with people are going viral on social media.
