After Tamil Nadu government promulgated an emergency ordinance for the conduct of Jallikattu, a group of people in Pudupatti village near Manapparai have reportedly conducted Jallikattu. According to reports, more than 10 bulls were released from vadi vasal. Notably, Jallikattu, planned to be held in Alanganallur, was called off earlier.
